The Magic7 and Magic7 Pro are nearly identical, differing mainly in display size, battery capacity, and camera configurations. The standard Magic7 model features a 6.78-inch 1.2K LTPO OLED display with a 1Hz-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a peak HDR of 5,000 nits, and a global peak of 1,600 nits. The Pro model, meanwhile, sports a slightly larger 6.8-inch version of the same display. Both phones come with IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring resistance to dust and water.
On the camera front, the Magic7 Pro features a 50MP primary camera with a 1/1.3” sensor, variable aperture, and OIS, along with a 50MP ultra-wide lens. It also boasts an enhanced 200MP telephoto camera with a large 1/1.4” sensor, supporting 2.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. The Pro’s camera module also includes a laser focus sensor and a color temperature sensor for improved photography.
The standard Magic7 includes a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom but otherwise shares the same camera setup as the Pro model. Both phones are equipped with a 50MP front-facing camera, although the Pro model uniquely features a pill-shaped cutout that houses a 3D IR blaster for enhanced facial recognition security.
The Magic7 series brings back the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which was first introduced with the Magic4 series. These devices are powered by substantial batteries: 5,650mAh for the Magic7 and 5,850mAh for the Magic7 Pro, which supports 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.
The Magic7 starts at CNY4,500 (around RM2,760), while the Magic7 Pro starts at CNY5,700 (around RM3,450). HONOR has yet to announce the availability of the Magic7 series outside of China, including any release plans for Malaysia.
